In this training, we will talk about how relationships begin with trust, respect, understanding, communication, choice, and patience. These are important health and safety conditions we need to stand firm on.
The first hour will be the training topic. The IEP clinic will begin in the second hour allowing individuals to bring their student’s IEP, Evaluation, or 504 plan to the clinic and ask questions.
This training will provide an overview of Autism including its genesis, the unique characteristics of autism and how each person may be affected, relationship development, and technology. This training is valuable to parents, guardians, teachers, community service providers, etc.

Telling Your Story Workshop - Whether you're fine-tuning your ask or you want to learn to advocate for change. At the end of this session, you will know how to define an issue and advocate for policy and/or system change by drawing from personal experiences to make your point effectively and memorably.
Practicing Your Pitch - Finally! This is the time to practice telling your story in front of other advocates. You will receive the best feedback to help you refine your talking points to get your message across effectively and create change in your community.
