Autism Therapies and Best Practices Supports
Many interventions exist for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Yet, scientific research has found only some of these interventions effective. The interventions that researchers have shown to be effective are called evidence-based practices (EBPs). One reason for using EBPs is that, by law, teaching practices must be based on evidence of effectiveness.
We will learn
- about ASD-EBPs
- at what age and stage they are used and implemented
- at what cognitive levels they can be effective
- how they provide socially competent instruction
- sensory processing
- and more.
