Special Education 101 for Parents
Larry Davis of Special Education Advocacy will give a short presentation about the process for requesting help when your student is struggling. The goal is to help parents navigate the school system so their students can access their education.
This meeting is also open to professionals who support students with disabilities and/or behavioral concerns.
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Special Education But Did Not Have the Opportunity to Ask:
- Fundamentals of a Special Education referral; things to know
- Guiding Principles; more things to know
- Question and Answer Session: Majority of the presentation
Please RSVP by email to [email protected] so that we can provide enough materials and ensure adequate space for all. We are meeting on the first floor of Holly Ridge Center, across from the WinCo and Carl’s Jr. Drive down the hill and turn into the first driveway on your right.
