In this training, we will review practical goals for your child or young adult with ASD. Of course, academic achievement is important for all our children but as important is social-communication, social-emotional regulation, social skills, sensory processing support and much more. We will discuss the need for goals to be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. We will discuss what some of these goals may look like, what kind of tools will help with the generalization of supports from one classroom to another and how rubrics can help gather necessary data to measure progress.
