KCPC Meeting – Applying For Guardianship in Kitsap County

September 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm PDT

Free

Did you know planning for guardianship starts at age 17 and local rules now require that an attorney or the Courthouse Facilitator review reports before submitting them to ensure proper forms are used and they are fully completed? Learn more about the Lay Guardianship process from Court Facilitators, Becky Turbyfill and Shauna Johnson.

We will learn:

  • What’s new in Guardianship law?
  • At what age should we start planning?
  • Learn about what adult guardianship is and some alternatives to guardianship.
  • Meet Kitsap County court facilitators and learn how they can help you seamlessly apply for guardianship.
  • Time for questions at the end

RSVP is not required but is appreciated. We send an after-meeting email with links to resources.
