Join us for a beverage and snack. We’re available for you to ask questions, get help navigating resources, browse our library, and connect with KCPC staff. You can attend in person or online with Microsoft Teams. Children are welcome. We will provide crayons and a coloring book, but no childcare will be available.
KMHS and Kitsap County Suicide Awareness Coalition are working together to bring an all-inclusive event that spreads awareness and promotes community support, access to resources, and more.
Visit the Kitsap County Parent Coalition's booth to learn more about IDD and co-occurring disorders and Autism and co-occurring disorders. Hear from adults and youth with lived experience, find support, and choose a sensory/calming gadget.
This training will bring understanding to the Special Education process and how it works to ensure students with disabilities receive a Free Appropriate Public Education. It will also clarify the rights and responsibilities under IDEA. Participants will learn to navigate the Special Education process from eligibility, evaluation and the development of IEPs and their implementation. After the training, an IEP Clinic is available for participants to share their questions and concerns regarding their students, evaluations, IEPs, or meetings.
Did you know planning for guardianship starts at age 17 and local rules now require that an attorney or the Courthouse Facilitator review reports before submitting them to ensure proper forms are used and they are fully completed? This year, Apple Tree Therapy is happy to provide a TRUNK-OR-TREAT WALK-THRU Halloween Event. Children and families will park and walk around the building to receive prizes and treats while passing decorations and costumed staff and volunteers! Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary to join in the Halloween Fun.

Doc Luvs the Kids is bringing the community together in order to provide partnership, connectedness, and a sense of belonging to everyone in Kitsap County! Join us as we gather monthly at different Kitsap Regional Library locations to build our BELOVED COMMUNITY by spending time with each other in a meaningful way.
