Join us as we gather monthly at different Kitsap Regional Library locations to build our BELOVED COMMUNITY by spending time with each other in a meaningful way. \n¡Un evento mensual especial con comida\, juegos y actividades!\nUn evento de lanzamiento de un encuentro comunitario para combatir la soledad y el aislamiento. \nExiste una epidemia nacional de soledad y aislamiento\, pero no tiene por qué ser así. SUMMARY:KCPC Meeting: Search & Rescue and Crisis Intervention
DESCRIPTION:I’m so excited for our next meeting. The topics will be Crisis Intervention and Search & Rescue. We will hear from the Sheriff’s office on keeping our individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities safe. We will learn how to prepare beforehand\, what to do during the event\, and what happens afterward. Children are welcome to attend\, though they may be bored or alarmed at the topic. There are events for your children (of all ages) to meet police and firefighters in a calm environment in Poulsbo the next day. \n\nFire Station Open House\, 10/21/23 @ 9-11 a.m.\nPolice Meet & Greet and Practice Traffic Stop\, 10/21/23 @ 12-2 p.m. RSVP at srs@wittlegal.com\n\nRefreshments provided! Doors open at 5:30. Arrive early to grab a couple of mini croissant sandwiches and snacks\, and pick up resources. We will have information on how to order fingerprinting kits\, materials for keeping our children safe\, and more! \nPlease RSVP so we can accommodate everyone who would like to attend. RSVP at kcpc@wa.easterseals.com or 360-347-6412. \n** Meeting date subject to change **  Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue is graciously providing the room but reserves the right to cancel in case of operational need.
